Faith came to us after being disappointed with a cheaper electric folding wheelchair she had purchased.

After a quick chat to discover her needs we invited her down for a GOLD DEMO to test out the Smart Chair 1 XL with upgrades. During this demo we took Faith around the quiet cul-de-sac where our showroom is located and took her through all the features and controls of the wheelchair. Then we showed her some techniques for tackling curbs safely and took her on some testing cambers to help give her a feel for the chair. Once she had thoroughly tested the standard setup we went through some possible modifications that could make Faith’s new electric wheelchair more precisely suit her personal needs.

“Not pushed into anything. To be fair, it was me who suggested and chose the deeper cushion, and then they suggested a higher back support to go with it. An extending footplate was also suggested and added.”

Once the specifications had been exactly tailored to Faith’s needs we assembled the folding wheelchair in the specification she wanted, carried out our safety checks and handed over the ready-to-go electric wheelchair to its new owner. Shortly after we caught up with Faith to see how she as getting on with her new LITH-TECH chair.

“I’ve had the chair a week now, and today, I took it out in our local town, with curbs, potholes, and slopes to get into shops. All of those features had previously tipped me out of my old chair – no problems with this chair! I am a very happy customer now, hoping to be able to go to many places I’ve had to avoid for a while.”
