Terms & Conditions



All of our products are fully tested and checked over when we initially receive them and put them into stock. We then also fully test each chair once again before they go out to the customer.

We offer a years warranty from the date of purchase. This is on the main frame, motors, joystick, controller unit and the wheelchairs batteries.  Any wear and tear items (for example wheels and forks, armrests, mudguards, any cushioning), water damage, crashes or any other misuse will not be covered. 

You will only be fully covered for warranty within the UK. We will also no longer pay to send parts overseas as parts and chairs kept getting lost or damaged costing us thousands and upsetting our customers in the process. Users abroad will pay postage costs and we will supply the parts.

If you have an issue either within the warranty period or outside of it. The first thing to do is to call us straight away so we can try and diagnose the fault or issue over the phone and rectify it as quickly as physically possible. (8 times out of 10 it’s something silly like a loose connection/wire or the wheelchair being in freewheel mode instead of electric mode so wont move) We will then need you to email us a video explaining the fault along with a full description of what you are experiencing. Once the fault has been identified, we then have three options

  1. The quickest method if you are not local to surrey is to send you the part by royal mail, this takes around 24-48 hours. We do this whenever it’s a small part that literally anyone can fix or swap out themselves so the user can get mobile again as quickly as physically possible.
  2. If you are local enough to LITH-TECH we will come to you directly and sort the issue out for you on the spot.
  3. We will send you a box and have the chair collected and brought back to our office where we will then rectify the issue, fully test it and then send you the repaired chair straight back out the next working day.

If we ever get a return, we will unbox it, then fully inspect and test the chair just to make sure the returned chair hasn’t been used and is in a perfect and re-sellable condition. Any chairs returned to us that clearly show obvious use, damage or that have been misused, mistreated or have water damage will not qualify for a full refund.

Receiving the item

When you receive the item, you will have to sign for it.

At this point please check over the box and condition of the packaging.

If you sign for the package it means you are also signing to say that you have received the parcel and it is in good condition. If you sign for the parcel and it is not in good condition it will not be re-collected and you will have to pay for a return.

If the parcel arrives damaged please take a picture and send it to us straight away.

Also in the unlikely event that you receive an item, which is defective. Please call us straight away, and then send us a picture and a video of the evidence and we will arrange a collection and replacement.




If customers are not happy for whatever reason please call or email us straight away. Due to the weight and value of our products, delivery and collection of items costs us a lot of money.

If you ever have to return a product back to us for any other reason than it being faulty you will be liable for all courier (postage) costs involved, this is a standard procedure within the industry and these costs will be deducted from your overall refund.

If for whatever reason the chair is not suitable for you, then you must let us know straight away and then it must be returned back to us within 7 days. LITH-TECH will always organise any collections so we know which courier service is being used and that it will arrive back to us fully tracked, is handled with care and most importantly it’s fully insured.

(All returns must be received back in an unused, brand new and fully working condition with everything that came with the chair including all accessories and the paper work)

We will organise a collection from your address with our courier. The customer will pay all the delivery and return costs associated with the purchase, which is then taken off the refund.

Apon receiving your return we will contact you to keep you in the loop and then issue a refund.



A full refund of the purchase price minus the delivery/collection cost of around £50 each way (more if you are from the highlands, islands or isle of wight) will be given if we receive the item back in an undamaged and unused condition in it’s original packaging with all of its original documentation and accessories including the; Invoice, chargers, tools, manuals etc.

If you are not happy for whatever reason and the chair is unused you have a legal time of 14 days to contact us. Ideally LITH-TECH believe you should be able to let us know in 7 days or less if your chair is not suitable.

Please also add a note stating the reason for return inside the box.

We will process your refund within 3 days of receiving the goods back to our head office.
