That’s why Lith-Tech Mobility now offers a clear, professional wheelchair repair and call-out service for our customers across Farnham, Poole, and surrounding areas, designed to get you moving again with minimal hassle.

Electric wheelchairs are made to be durable, but they’re still machines. Over time, components can loosen, break, or wear down. If left unchecked, small issues can turn into big (and expensive) problems.

Lith-Tech’s new repair service gives you peace of mind that we’ll be there when you need us, with transparent pricing and trusted support.

What We Repair

Our engineers are trained to diagnose and fix the most common issues Lith-Tech wheelchair users experience. We can help with:

• Battery and power issues
  
• Squeaking or noisy motors
  
• Loose bolts or broken fittings
  
• Faulty controllers or joysticks
  
• Damaged armrests or wheels
  
• Cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, etc.)

We carry most parts and components for all Lith-Tech models and for many similar high-quality wheelchairs too. If we don’t have it, we’ll do our best to source it efficiently.

Our Repair and Call-Out Service Explained

We offer a clear pricing model and only support repairs for:

• Lith-Tech chairs
  
• Chairs from other brands that share parts with Lith-Tech models 

We do not service entry-level or unsupported chairs from other retailers.

Call-Out Fee – £75

This covers:

• Travel to your location (within service area)
  
• Full diagnostic check of your chair
  
• Minor adjustments or tightening on-site
  
• Expert advice and quote on any parts needed

This is your starting point. Once we identify the issue, we’ll advise whether it can be fixed there and then, or if additional work or parts are required.

Labour Charges

We operate a fair and flexible pricing structure:

• Repairs up to 30 minutes: £30
  
• Repairs over 30 minutes: £60
  
• If we’re just slightly over (e.g., 35 minutes), we may charge £35, based on time taken

This means you only pay for the time your engineer is actively fixing the issue — not a flat rate or inflated estimate.

Parts Pricing

If your repair requires new parts (e.g. wheels, armrests, battery housing), we’ll:

• Explain the issue clearly
  
• Give you a cost upfront
  
• Only proceed if you give us the go-ahead

All standard nuts and bolts are replaced free of charge during a repair.

Optional Service Add-On – £20

While we’re on-site, we can also offer a basic safety service for just £20 — normally £30 if you came to us.

This includes:

• Safety check of bolts, brakes and electrics
  
• Light spruce-up and clean
  
• Basic re-tightening and adjustments

It’s a good way to make sure your entire chair is safe, not just the faulty part.

Our Service Area: Farnham & Poole + 60 Miles

We offer home repairs within:

• A 60-mile radius or 1 hour 20 minutes’ drive of Farnham, Surrey
  
• A 60-mile radius of Poole, Dorset

Please note:

• We do not offer call-outs into Central London
  
• We can cover South London in some circumstances
